Travel Guidelines for Sri Lanka
Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
Indian passport holders are required to comply with the latest Sri Lanka entry and visa requirements before departure.
Carry both printed and digital copies of your passport, visa approval, hotel vouchers, and flight tickets.
Sri Lanka's currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). Currency exchange is available at the airport and authorized exchange counters.
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in major cities, hotels, and shopping malls; however, it is advisable to carry some local currency for small purchases.
Respect local customs and dress modestly while visiting temples and religious sites. Shoes and hats must be removed before entering Buddhist temples.
Photography may be restricted inside certain religious monuments. Always seek permission where required.
Sri Lanka has a tropical climate, so carry lightweight clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle.
Electrical sockets generally use Type D, G, and M plugs with a 230V power supply. Carry a universal travel adapter if required.
Follow your driver's instructions during sightseeing and always keep your valuables secure.
It is recommended to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, baggage loss, and trip interruptions.

Day 1: Arrival at Colombo Airport – Transfer to Kandy (Approx. 3.5–4 Hours)
Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to the beautiful hill city of Kandy in a private vehicle. En route, you may visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (optional) to witness rescued elephants being cared for in their natural surroundings. Upon reaching Kandy, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka's most revered Buddhist temples, followed by a cultural dance performance showcasing traditional Sri Lankan heritage. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 2: Kandy Sightseeing – Transfer to Bentota (Approx. 4 Hours)
After breakfast, proceed for a panoramic city tour of Kandy including the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, renowned for its vast collection of orchids, palms, and tropical plants. Later, drive towards the coastal town of Bentota. En route, visit a Tea Factory and Tea Plantation to learn about the world-famous Ceylon Tea production process and enjoy breathtaking views of lush green hills. Upon arrival in Bentota, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure enjoying the serene beach atmosphere. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 3: Bentota Sightseeing – Excursion to Colombo
After breakfast, enjoy a memorable Bentota sightseeing tour beginning with a scenic Madu River Boat Safari through mangrove forests and small islands. Later, visit a Turtle Hatchery where endangered sea turtles are protected and nurtured before being released into the ocean. In the afternoon, proceed to Colombo for a panoramic city tour covering Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Old Parliament Building, Colombo Fort area, and prominent shopping districts. After sightseeing, return to Bentota for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Bentota – Colombo Airport Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy a comfortable private transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight. Depart with unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka's rich culture, scenic landscapes, pristine beaches, and warm hospitality.
