Travel Guidelines for Sri Lanka

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.

Indian passport holders must comply with the latest Sri Lanka visa and entry requirements before departure.

Carry printed and digital copies of your passport, visa approval, hotel vouchers, flight tickets, and travel insurance.

The local currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). Currency exchange facilities are available at the airport and authorized exchange centers.

Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls, though carrying some local currency is recommended for smaller purchases.

Dress modestly while visiting temples and religious sites. Shoes and headwear must be removed before entering Buddhist temples.

Photography may be restricted at certain religious sites. Always follow local regulations and seek permission where required.

Sri Lanka has a tropical climate with cooler temperatures in the hill country. Pack lightweight clothing for coastal regions, a light jacket for Nuwara Eliya, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle.

Electrical sockets generally use Type D, G, and M plugs with a 230V power supply. Carry a universal travel adapter if required.

During wildlife safaris,

maintain silence, avoid feeding animals, and follow all park regulations and your guide's instructions.

Respect local customs, traditions, and the environment throughout your journey.

It is strongly recommended to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, baggage loss, and trip interruptions.

Please arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your international departure for a smooth check-in process.

We wish you a wonderful journey through the enchanting island of Sri Lanka, filled with unforgettable experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and cherished memories!
