Travel Guidelines for Sri Lanka
Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.
Indian passport holders must comply with the latest Sri Lanka visa and entry requirements before departure.
Carry printed and digital copies of your passport, visa approval, hotel vouchers, flight tickets, and travel insurance.
The local currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). Currency exchange facilities are available at the airport and authorized exchange centers.
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls; however, carrying some local cash is advisable for small purchases.
Dress modestly while visiting temples and religious sites. Shoes, hats, and caps must be removed before entering Buddhist temples.
Photography may be restricted inside certain religious monuments. Always follow local guidelines and seek permission where required.
Sri Lanka enjoys a tropical climate. Carry light cotton clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle.
Electrical sockets generally use Type D, G, and M plugs with a 230V power supply. Carry a universal travel adapter if required.
Respect local customs, wildlife, and environmental regulations during your visit.
Keep your valuables secure and always follow your chauffeur's guidance during sightseeing.
It is highly recommended to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, baggage loss, and trip interruptions.

Day 1: Arrival at Colombo Airport – Transfer to Kandy (Approx. 3.5–4 Hours)
Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to the picturesque hill capital of Kandy in a private air-conditioned vehicle. En route, you may visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (optional) to observe rescued elephants in a natural environment. Upon arrival in Kandy, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world, followed by a vibrant Cultural Dance Show featuring traditional Sri Lankan music and dance performances. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 2: Kandy Sightseeing – Nuwara Eliya (Approx. 2.5–3 Hours)
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, home to thousands of exotic plant species and orchids. Later, proceed towards the charming hill station of Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as "Little England" due to its colonial architecture and cool climate. En route, visit a Tea Plantation and Tea Factory to witness the fascinating process of producing world-famous Ceylon Tea. Continue through scenic mountain roads, waterfalls, and lush tea estates before arriving in Nuwara Eliya. Visit Gregory Lake and enjoy a panoramic city tour covering Victoria Park and colonial landmarks (subject to time availability). Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota (Approx. 5–6 Hours)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards the beautiful beach destination of Bentota. Enjoy one of Sri Lanka's most scenic journeys through tea-covered hills, valleys, and picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, check in to your beach resort and spend the remaining day relaxing by the beach or enjoying the resort facilities at leisure. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 4: Bentota Sightseeing – Colombo Excursion
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing on a private basis. Begin with an exciting Madu River Boat Safari through mangrove forests, small islands, and traditional fishing villages. Later, visit a Turtle Hatchery to learn about the conservation efforts for endangered sea turtles. In the afternoon, proceed to Colombo for a comprehensive city tour covering Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Old Parliament Building, Colombo Fort, Pettah Market, and popular shopping areas. After sightseeing, return to Bentota for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Bentota – Colombo Airport Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and enjoy a comfortable private transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka's rich culture, misty mountains, golden beaches, warm hospitality, and breathtaking natural beauty.
